Maybe She'll Love You

maybe she'll love you
how i should have
how i could have
how i would have
had you allowed me to
you made me feel small
while you walked tall
and didn't care at all
they say
pride comes before a fall
they say
it happens all the time
they say
there's a thin line
between happiness and misery
they say
there's a fine line
between delusion and reality
perhaps it's your destiny
another opportunity
another chance
another romance
maybe she'll love you
if you'll allow her to

  1. Deeply moving, this beautiful poem sent a tingle down my spine!
It is one of those rare, heart-achingly honest pieces that I will remember forever :)

  2. Love this, but so tempted to write a 'lock her in the basement until she loves you' story now!
