Secret

i bear you in my heart
with unwept tears
like the rose who
suffers her thorns
but weeps at dawn
i bear within my heart
a painful secret

  3. Rachel,
Some people do die with their secrets and I find that to be so sad.

  4. I like the strainings of "suffers her thorns but weeps at dawn".

The pic cast in a cold gray adds to the piece.

    :)

  10. Confess that secret
    To another rose
And you will feel your heart
    Growing lighter
As the rose bears that pain
    With you...

  12. If only we could weep at dawn and clear our hearts in the sun, like the rose.
