Sunset

As day lies
cradled
in the blush
of evening pastels
Night unfurls
her dusky wings
Sweeping shadows
and night shade
gently gathering
the darkness

  4. Elizabeth,
Thank you, no it was freezing! The weather has been pretty mild for winter but the temp fell a couple of degrees the day after that beautiful sunset but we had a lovely sunny day (no rain) and that's ok for this time of the year I guess. More frost and fog on the way because the night skies are magnificently clear:D
