The Artist

Flesh tones blush upon his palette
The delicate stroke of a brush
Caresses the bare canvas
Anointing it with her essence
While he breathes in her beauty

  2. pppfffff!!! A model of excellence!

Love the "flesh tones blush" with the "stroke of a brush", caressing her "bare canvas" and "anointing" "her essence". The last line is exactly what I have done with this poem.

    The pic fits.

    Kudos Rose.

  8. Thank you Dave King. This should be beautiful as it is a photo of a print of an old master - who is the artist? It was named spring I think. I can't remember it was rather moth eaten so a took a photo of a portion of the print for my post and digitally modified it to hide the moth nibbles. Thank for your visit!

  9. The painter gives life to the painting, the painting returns the gift.
