Through misty haze

where dusty snow lays

thoughts take flight

to giddy heights

Courting 

the delusion

the mirage

the illusion

Between the cluttered echoes

of human experience

the voice beneath the silence

whispers to the spiritual being

'Reach not high up

But deep within'

Yesterday

ravenous starlings
descend to devour bread
still feeding the birds

And after the snow we were rewarded with this lovely sunset - quite unexpectedly ....

After such a strange day I wasn't surprised to see the moon snagged in a tree.

Today

Snow on oak leaves.
