Rain On Me

Standing in the
falling rain
I tremble
like the rose
drenched in the dawn
that lifts her face
and spreads
her leaves
to hide her thorns
I stand in the
falling rain
just to feel
your touch again

We are as delicate as that trembling rose when we are in love, aren't we?

  12. Love means not hiding the thorns until they aren't thorns anymore, but reminders of the beloved.
